He is a Civil Engineer from the Colombian School of Engineering, with a specialization in Business Administration from the Sergio Arboleda University. He has extensive experience in business and strategic development of companies for over 23 years. Since 2010, he has been an entrepreneur and investor in development projects in new markets, including technology and consumer StartUps.
He has served on the board of directors of manufacturing and service companies, and currently holds the position of Managing Partner of Taller Empresarial S.A.S. He has been associated with Ecovis since 2018, specializing in investment banking, business valuation, financial and business structuring for the company’s clients.
He has participated in M&A processes, valuations, and transactions, as well as business improvement plans in more than 250 companies in all economic sectors. He has evaluated more than 1,300 projects in the alternative development programs of USAID (Midas), Bogotá Emprende of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá, Concurso Ventures, and Fondo Emprender.
He has accumulated experience in transactions exceeding USD $1.2 billion and company valuations of more than USD $7.8 billion. He worked as Corporate Finance Manager for KPMG in Colombia and as Chief Financial Officer for the GIC Group, representing AIG Capital Partners.
In addition to his professional career, he has been a speaker at conferences and seminars and has taught specialized courses at Colombian academic institutions such as the Colombian School of Engineering, Sergio Arboleda University, and the University of Pamplona.
